At the heart of a milk evaporator drier is the injection lance. As the atomised milk exits the lance into the hot air steam, the liquid milk dries and becomes milk powder. Due to the high pressures (200-300 bar) and temperatures experienced when lances are in service, stringent quality standards must be met and documented. (Certified welder to certified weld procedure, 100% x-ray of all welds, weld crack testing, material test certification.)
Use of jigs ensure consistency of lance geometry. Eccentric inner nozzle to cladding tube.
We like our work to not only meet specification, but to look good also. Small and tidy welds are our standard.
